What we have to offer...

The Community Centre has a large hall, which boasts one of the finest dance floors and stage in Hayling Island. This room is ideal for a wedding reception, discos and dances, large parties, concerts, public meetings, tabletop sales and commercial sales or exhibitions. There is equipment available for playing badminton, short mat bowls and table tennis. An abundance of folding chairs and tables are readily available for your use. We also have a grand piano, stage lighting, microphone equipment and cinema screen available on request.

The Centre has four smaller activity rooms, which are particularly popular for children's parties and christening celebrations - obviously parents have discovered the advantages of holding these functions away from home! These rooms are also used regularly for adult education or private classes, meetings, keep fit, courses etc.

There is a snack bar, which is open throughout the day, fully stocked with hot and cold drinks, sweets, chocolate, biscuits and crisps. 

A fully licensed bar available for functions, and we pride ourselves on our very reasonable prices of our entire bar stock. As the Centre is a licensed premises, we would respectfully advise anyone making a booking that it is unlawful to bring alcoholic drink onto the premises at any time. Wine, champagne etc can be ordered through the Bar Manager who will work with you to meet your requirements.

We have a well-equipped modern kitchen adjacent to both the main hall and activity room 1, with fridge, dishwasher, microwave, ovens, urns, hot cupboard and crockery and cutlery available for your use. A smaller kitchen can be found next to room 2 with tea and coffee making facilities.

The ceiling canopy is available for hire and gives the Hall a lovely ambience.

 The Centre can be booked for your function - wedding reception, business conference, dance, lecture, stage presentation etc.

Commercial bookings are now being taken for events such as antiques fairs, book sales, tabletop sales etc.

Fees are reasonable and the kitchen, heating and audio/visual facilities are also available. 

Remember too that the complex also includes two smaller function rooms, each with refreshment providing facilities for club and committee meetings, children's parties etc. that can be booked independently of the main hall.
