A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along and supported our annual Community Centre quiz night on Friday 26th May. We raised a grand total of £630. A massive thank you to Richard Chapman who set the questions and hosted the quiz. Thank you to Kay, Neil, Sarah and Maureen for the catering, to our scorers Dave, Margaret and Gloria, to Wally and Patrick for their help setting up, Peter and Mandy for selling raffle tickets and to everybody who pitched in to help clear away at the end of the night.
Preparations are now under way for our annual ‘Summer Party’ to be held on Friday 28th July which is a fabulous start to the beginning of the school summer holidays. The children love all the stalls, donkey rides, cakes and bouncy castles but we also need lots of assistance on the day to run the event. Please let us know if you are able to help in any way and we can allocate you a job or to run a stall. We would like to make an appeal for any games, puzzles and soft toys this year, and we would like donations of jam jars with lids if you would like to drop them into the Centre. Thank you.
Cancelled - unfortunately this event has been cancelled as the organiser will be going into hospital for surgery. If you have already purchased tickets, please contact the organiser Lewis King on 07477480076 or email email@example.com for refunds.
