Welcome to hayling island community centre

As the heart & hub of Hayling Island, we have lots of different things happening at the centre on a daily basis. With our regular groups & classes there is so much to enjoy and as one of the largest venues with multiple rooms to offer plus a fully licensed bar room, we can accommodate the smallest events to the biggest weddings!

Hayling Island Community Centre is a registered charity and does not receive  funding. Every day, our centre provides a welcoming, safe, and accessible space for hundreds of people from across our island. As a self-sustaining charity run by a very small team, we rely on the relationship with our community - and every room hire or event ticket purchased directly helps keep our doors open!

 If you donate unwanted textiles to our Astra Recycling bank, they will recycle them and donate 10p per kilo to us!  Clothes can take up to 40 years to decompose and shoes up to 1000 years to break down, but 95% of these can be recycled! You can find the bin to the right of the centre.  

DO BRING - clothes, shoes, sheets, duvet covers, pillow cases & soft toys

DON'T BRING - pillows, quilts, lined curtains, board games ,toys/games, general waste.
