The Organisation

The Centre is a registered charity and does not receive any regular funding or grants.

The Association has a Council of managing trustees, responsible for the management of the charity and the Community Centre. The Council consists of officers and individual members elected at the AGM in May, plus representatives of association groups, affiliated organisations, and the local authority.

There are a number of paid members of staff who carry out the day to day running of the Centre, under the guidance of the Association.

The reception desk at the Community Centre is staffed by volunteers, so if you would like to make new friends and help your community, please email tina@hicca.co.uk or call on 02392 467567, we would love to meet you.

Welcome to the Hayling Island Community Centre

The Community Centre was built in 1981, and is based in the very heart of the Island, on the edge of West Town Shopping Centre and within the pleasant surroundings of Hayling Park.

We currently have some room for different classes on different days so please call the office on 02392 467562. Hire rates can be found in the prices tab.

We have a Main Hall and 3 smaller rooms.

Opening Hours

Monday to Thursday: 9am -10pm

Friday: 9am -4pm

(Opening times vary due to functions)

Open at weekends if any functions are on:
Saturday: 9am - 11.30pm
Sunday: 9am - 3pm

Please note the Community Centre office is closed for Bank Holidays.
