Founded in 1959, The Hayling Musical Society is a friendly amateur musical theatre society based on Hayling Island, Hampshire.
We currently have two sections in our society. Hayling Musical Society is the adult section and Hayling Youngstars is the children’s section for 10-17 year olds.
Our performances and rehearsals take place at Hayling Island Community Centre, making it our first ever real home and we are proud to work with the centre to this day.
A musical theatre group where pre-teens and teenagers get the chance to sing, act, dance and perform in shows.
The Hayling Youngstars have been wowing audiences with quality shows such as Wizard of Oz, High School Musical and many more including the wonderful Les Miserables ( school edition) in 2017.
The Youngstars range from 10 to 18 years in age and meet on Monday and Thursdays 6-8pm at Hayling Community Centre.
